Hi! I’m Caitlin. I’m a 20 year old creative writing student. I started this as a way for me to keep up with my writing practice and basically yap about all of the fun things I have planned this summer.

I have lots of fun things planned this summer. Trips to Alton Towers and Center Parcs, Harry Styles and Lorde concerts, Hamilton live for the first time, and lots more! There are also so many exciting releases coming up soon that I can’t wait to talk about (Daughter From Hell!!!! you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love!!!! The Hunger Games!!!!!). I seriously can’t wait!
I’m also disabled. I was diagnosed with PoTS in 2021, Myalgic Encephalomyelitis in 2022, and endometriosis last year. I’m also an ambulatory wheelchair user. It was really difficult learning to adapt my life to these conditions, but I’ve come to learn a lot about managing them. Much of my learning came from fellow members of the online chronic illness community, and now I want to add to it with my own experiences.
When I reached a stage in my illness journey where I could start to travel again and go to concerts, I had no idea what to expect. I hope that I can change that for somebody else.
Disability advocacy is extremely important for me as it completely changed my life, and there is such little awareness for these conditions, so it will be a big part of my content!
But, for those who don’t relate, there will be plenty of general fangirl and fun content too, alongside some learning opportunities 🙂
